The machine of the Honda Civic Hybrid 2007 has the mode of deactivation when it is certain cruising modes, i.e. the machine deactivates all its cylinders, thus reducing the emissions from the engine to nil since the electric motor powers the vehicle. Again the machine allows opening and closing of cylinders to give the right amount of power to engine while accelerating.
