2011 The Mini Rocketman

As consumers start to shift their attention to cars that are more economically friendly as well as stylish, automobile makers are coming up with unique and interesting designs. The 2011 Geneva Motor show revealed a number of new vehicles that will be hitting the streets in the coming months, and there are several promising models.

While fuel efficiency may have been a common factor a few years ago, the vehicles that were out for view at the show ranged from sports cars to range rovers and even luxury cars. It is apparent that the body of the car is no longer the limitation; and with some cars getting 150 mpg, there is no telling what the coming models will be capable of.

The first car that will be covered is the Nissan ESFLOW. This stylish sports car can seat 2 people and even has the ability to travel 150 miles on a single charge. Pair this mileage with the power to go from 0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds, and it is very easy to see why so many people have their eyes on this vehicle. Nissan has also designed the ZOE with Renault. The ZOE has a top speed of about 84 mph and can go from 0 to 60 in 8.1 seconds.

hen it was launched, many industry commentators complained that BMW’s New Mini was neither as compact nor as affordable as its illustrious predecessor had been. In a possible effort to address this (and no doubt to compete with the likes of the competitions smaller offerings), MINI will be showing the Rocketman Concept at the 2011 Geneva International Motor Show this March.
