the new Audi A6 saloon Coming in German automotive luxury

As far as German automotive luxury goes, you can't really get much better than an Audi. Their A6 model is the bigger brother of the A4 and manages to knock everything that is great about its little brother up to an even higher notch. Cool, classy business motoring is the call of the day with the A6 - with the line-up sporting 3 variations. As is common with Audi, each variation fills the place in its intended market perfectly. The typical A6 will appeal to businessmen and those wanting the looks and desirability of a saloon car, while the Avant and Allroad Quattro will appeal to those wanting that same style but with the space of an estate or that off-road feel.

The model of focus today is the new A6 saloon, which has recently been given a 2012 facelift and is due for release in April this year. Aesthetically it has undergone quite a change, with a completely new front end paying very close resemblance to that of their supercar the Audi R8. Having officially taken ideas from the A8 model, the headlights are now angled and curve around the edge of the body to give it that mean, aggressive stare, and the grill has been redesigned to be sharper and more edgy. The bodywork has also undergone considerable change from last year's model; with a far sleeker design. What results in the redesign is a car that carries a business like class with it, while also still harbouring a mean sporty glance. It works surprisingly well and the A6 manages to maintain its class despite its edge.

Need some tips on how to change the engine oil on your Audi A6 Quattro? No problem. When it comes to Audi a6 parts, there are a few things you will need to handle. Follow these steps for success.

1. Make sure you have these items, a new Mann oil filter, a 6 Quarts 5w40 synthetic motor oil, and of course an oil wrench. For better air flow and drainage, warm up the car's oil by turning on the ignition.

2. Place your car on a ramp and lift it up from the ground. A jack is a useful tool for this operation.

3. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the cover underneath the front of the car to get access to the engine oil filter.

4. Then you want to locate the oil filter as well as the oil drain plug. Remove the drain plug carefully with the use of an adjustable wrench. Be sure that you're ready with an oil bucket because hot oil will begin to ooze out.

5. Let the oil drain in a catch bucket for a few minutes.

6. Remove the oil filter with the use of the filter wrench. Be prepared because there will usually be some oil left over in the filter.

7. Before you place the new filter, the old one should be dabbed with oil on its contact surfaces. For less than two dollars, you can get a new drain plug. This is highly recommended.

8. After everything below is properly drained, replaced, and put into place tightly, it's time to open up the hood. Fill up with some fully synthetic 5w40 motor oil as was specified by Audi. It will top off at around six liters. After your car is on a flat surface, be sure to double check our oil level.
