The new Hybrid Fit shares many similarities with the Honda Insight and the current Fit model. It will also make use of the Integrated Motor Assist powertrain and will probably have an electric motor and a 1.3 liter four cylinder engine. It is not definite yet as to when the Fit Hybrid will be released in the United States as an official debut date has not been released yet by Honda. This car would be a great addition to current selection of Honda Hybrid lineup available such as the CR-Z, Insight, and the Civic Hybrid. The new Hybrid Fit shares many similarities

Fuel economy in the Fit is very good as would be expected in a small car. The Fit returns twenty-eight miles per gallon in city driving, and thirty-five miles per gallon on the highway. The Honda Fit accelerates from zero to sixty miles per hour in nine and two-tenths seconds; the little Honda covers the quarter mile in seventeen seconds at a speed of eighty-two miles per hour. The standard feature list on the Fit is quite long. Air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, AM/FM stereo with compact disc player, power steering, and a tachometer are all standard on the Fit. Standard safety features on the Fit include child door locks, engine immobilizer, and side airbags. The Fit received five star crash ratings in government testing for driver front, passenger front, and front side crash testing.
